Friday afternoon/evening and we finally get to spend some longer quality time with Chris as he is off for the weekend from his job with &*)&&^ where he is in charge of *&&(*)&^^ (If I tell you I will have to kill you)
Anyway we set of for Hermanus land of gorgeous beaches, sharks
and Pebble Beach (appropriately named) - our B&B and where we went hunting and played golf all on a Sunday morning.
Our room was great
and looked out on the 16th green...
Did not take us long to settle in and have some sherry,

set out by our great man servant, Benueil (pronounced Been Well - when he told me, I said, "Great! Me Too!" "Do you know the capital of Alaska?") (By the way I left out the Eye
- its ELEPHINO!!)
We went out to dinner and I guess Lisa ate a little more than planned on and then leaned against the back of their car!
The car did not fare so well...
Luckily we are still able to load up the half trunk (lucky for you I am not going back to find another elephaqnt pic) from the back seat.
Actually we got rear ended (Imagine that in Hermanus - can't tell the Chris joke or Jane will hit me) by a nice young man who apparently was tired and not paying close attention...remains to be seen what happens with the car. He is insured but L&C company wanted to say it is totaled if they handle the case and they could not replace for what they would get...So far the kid is working with them although it is his father's insurance.
Anyway we got up the next morning, Sherried Up (not Danny's or Eddie's) we set out to dive with the Great White Sharks.
Unfortunately Bobby D is dead (sorry Mark) so despite the lack of a good song to set us on our way, we had to put up with Lisa and Chris imitations.

More worried about claus than the sharks I got in the cage, a bit surprised that Lisa had cut her finger on purpose and rubbed it on my cheek.
Chris got in right after me and I was quite relieved to recognize that I did not actually look so goofy.
We both went down twice and got some great looks at the sharks!

I was pleased to find out that a close face up visit from a Great White did not change how Goofy a guy looks!!!
That night, a great dinner and home with out a car wreck!!! Wahoo.
Next morning we played golf at Pebble Beach. The front nine we scattered the ball all over the place. Then on the back nine we elected to play Best Ball as we were about 4 hours into the round. We decided you would get one point every time your shot was used. I will report early on that Chris ended up with 2!!!! Lisa took one look at the course
and said how about an extra point if you hit a bird! We all agreed knowing it could never happen. Then on the 15th hole (a par three) Lisa got a birdie scoring 2 points, one for each of her shots. On the sixteeth (after I said beware the dreaded ABFU) she swung mightily and hit a Guinea Hen about 100 yards away. She yelled, "Yahoo!!! Another Birdie!!! (reminds me of Mark hunting baby ducks.)
Come on, isn't it only right that the hen shake a pin feather every now and then for her man.
Lisa made me put in this picture least we be scorched/scolded by by Diana.
A great day and afternoon driving through Franschoek (or something like that - no Larry bird around). It was glorious and don't think for a second I did not text Peter about it!

Well it was another great adventure and we loved it!! Jane read the blog and said you remind me of a
We miss you all and wish you were here...Jerry would have clearly gotten out of the cage...
